  Joan Jett is great in this, but it's Paul Schrader's Lifetime melodrama without going much deeper (or dingier). Glad to have watched it though.

  That line made me actually almost spit take. I 'rewound' it like five times. This movie is everything. The femme punk soundtrack, the diy-vibe, the realness of sex and friendships, the openness in dialogue about female sexuality, rape, pregnancy, gender roles, power dynamics. And they all work at a fucking movie theater.
