This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I have yet to read the book, but I have seen the old film. First, I am very happy when a decent horror film does well at the box office, because horror as a genre can be very rewarding to watch and anytime a horror film does as well as It has. You know there are going to be a ton of horror films coming out in the next 1-3 years.

This was definitely a modern horror movie set in…

Finally was able to see this film and it definitely impressed. The way the characters conflicted past unfolded through out the story made every moment worth watching. You felt every emotion the characters were feeling and when a moment was tense to the point of wanting to look away. You found yourself watching because those moments were earned and respected. From Sicario to Hell or High Water to Wind River. Taylor Sheridan has proving that he is one of the best new writers in Hollywood and everything he writes/directors is a must watch.

Wow...Is really all that needs to be said. It is rare to see a film that when after you leave the theater you know it is a masterpiece.

This is Christopher Nolan's best film to date. He had a clear and concise vision and he put in on screen in his own way, and he really did nail it. But...why is this film rated PG-13? I get it, it will make more money both domestically and overseas without the R, but this is could have been the landmark WW2 since Saving Private Ryan. Appropriate gore in war films is needed to showcase the brutality and terrifying nature of war.
