The French subtitles had the movie title as 'un punch à l'estomac' and when it finally clicked for me during the last 15 minutes the movie became funnier to me than it should have been

The tank chase scene made me laugh and be in awe of how masterful it looked. I expected something tragic to happen as this is a King Vidor movie; but I was relieved that this still had its own charm despite being different from other works of his. Hedy Lamarr was so adorable 🥺 Also big representation win for girlies who would marry Clark Gable without hesitation.
