This would've been one intense and engrossing thrill ride if I were to go out of my way to see it in theaters. But, other than that, the latest adaptation of All Quiet on the Western Front for the modern-day generation of filmmaking is magnificent. The stunning cinematography, fantastic editing and directing, and horrifying yet beautiful view of World War I kept my eyes glued to the screen while I was watching the movie from home. I'm calling it right now. This movie deserves to be nominated for Best Director, Actor, Picture, Cinematography, Score, and Editing. Felix Kammerer, I hope you continue to make great impressions on the audience in future films because you are a star here. A strong contender for one of the best films of 2022!
