As I am getting close to the end of this rough year for new movie releases, I have now made a decision to play a game of catch-up, so that I have enough movies in my mind to rank them in my best and worst films of 2020. Next up, I finally saw Enola Holmes and it was a light-hearted and adventurous take on the tale of Sherlock Holmes.
First off, the acting in the movie was really good especially from Millie Bobby Brown playing the titular character and Henry Cavill as the one and only Sherlock Holmes. I mean Millie Brown has proven herself worthy enough to be one of the upcoming actresses to look out for in the near future. She is so good in that movie and it seems like she was having so much fun with her role. The cinematography was incredibly well-shot and pretty innovative on how certain scenes translates to another scene on a few occasions. Even though the movie can be a little slow in the beginning, Enola Holmes is still a really fun ride and gives you a nice in-depth look on how she was able to outsmart Sherlock by solving his case.
What a good time!!!
