Phenomenal in just about every aspect. Performances, editing, sound design and production value are all fantastic. Glad I finally got around to seeing this (and in a 70mm format as well) because this is easily Nolan’s greatest achievement as a director in YEARS.

The Last Airbender 2010
One of the greatest cinematic achievements ever conceived, The Last Airbender is an outstanding adaptation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" thanks to M. Night Shyamalan’s brilliant direction that drives the film to pure greatness. Along with stunning performances, a deep and powerful emotional story, spectacular sequences and some of the most breathtaking visuals I’ve ever seen put to film, this movie does such perfect justice to its source material while still managing to break new ground in so many ways that it's all just astounding to behold. A masterpiece in every sense of the word. How can anyone not praise this sensational work of art?

Hidalgo 2004
One of the most underrated and overlooked films ever in my opinion, Hidalgo is a fantastic adventure film with an investing plot, beautiful cinematography, terrific action and set pieces, great direction by Joe Johnston and all led by an outstanding lead turn from Viggo Mortensen. This really is one of my personal favorites of all time that I feel like nobody really talks about. Saw this in theaters back in 2004 and have done nothing but sing its praises and recommend it to everyone I know ever since. I love this movie so much.
