    Spider-Man: No Way Home

    Pros
I really loved seeing some of the old cast back.
Holland has been my favourite spider-man.
    His friends are adorable.
The story ultimately sticks the landing, thematically. It's all about second chances and the price that has to be paid.
I loved some of the sacrifices Peter has to pay for his actions.

    Cons
I really didn't love seeing some of the old cast back.

    Arrival

    ★★★★½

Deeply moving and humanistic, beautifully shot with incredible sound design; the script elegantly balances the dramatic narrative while gradually submerging the audience in the challenge of how to communicate with the aliens. This film resonated with me long after I had left the screening and made me want to rush home and hug my kids. The epitome of why I adore going to the cinema.
