miss florence is too likable. i rooted for her from the jump. 3.5 stars for her and some interesting cinematography.

the greatest movie ever.

wait lmao so why was this documentary that largely focuses on a lack of female directors in hollywood directed…by a man?

basically the entire soundtrack/score being abba…..SO TRUE!

i love alia shawkat and will watch anything she is in but i just found it supremely difficult to care about these characters/their motives and just the whole storyline, really. just felt like i was asking myself why? the whole runtime.

this movie was the only movie i was remotely interested in watching on my flight today, for whatever reason. i haven’t watched it since i was like, ten. 

why. is it so good. 5/5 stars.

this was my perfect movie. very slice of life, very take in every little moment as meaningful. the shots of food alone! gorgeous stuff. just such a delightful story.

oh, this was so entirely different than i thought it would be and i loved it so much. with this movie and plan b, i really hope natalie morales continues directing.

the constant commentary about lily wearing pants felt overdone by the second time frank refers to her as “pants” but also emily blunt did look really fucking good in that pantsuit at the very end so. like. i guess i get fixating on it. 

was sad to see such a low rating on here since i enjoyed this overall; i find adventure stories very fun and thought this one was engaging and exciting, and i watched this with my grandma, who loved it so much, which i think made me love it, too.
