demi adejuyigbe was right. i, tonya was robbed of a nomination for best picture. i thought maybe he was over exaggerating seeing as how there were so many great movies this year, but i, tonya was truly one of the best. the writing is great and the cast is perfect, but no one holds a candle to sebastian stan’s performance. i’m not just saying this because i think he’s hot (which i do), i’m not saying this because he’s one of my favorite actors (which he is), i’m saying this because his performance as jeff gillooly is not only his best performance yet, it’s one of the best of the year. maybe all time. his voice is unrecognizeable. his slight romanian accent is completely gone. his relationship with margot as tonya seems completely real, and his anger even more real than that. sebastian stan fucking delivered. he became a real life villain, proving that he can do more than just bucky.
