    Tetsuo: The Bullet Man


    The weird mix of iron, sweat and blood we’ve come to know and love has been embedded into something of a narrative here. While I didn’t think this could work I ended up actually loving it. The story is pretty basic and nothing to freak over, but Tsukamoto san really makes it work here. Great conclusion to a great trilogy.

    I am not a fan of the MCU or of super hero movies in general. I do love good animation and story though and I’d be hard-pressed to think about a better animated film I’ve seen the past ten years. This movie has it all: Fan service. Lovable characters. A cool story. But the most beautiful thing is its message, which could not be more befitting the personality of the late Stan Lee: Comics are for EVERYONE, regardless of age, sex, color or race, and EVERYBODY can have his/her* place in the MCU.

    Thank god Mary Lambert got to do this sequel! A fair amount of graphic violence, a more far-out plot, a great soundtrack and a stunning performance by Clancy Brown make this one a very enjoyable experience!
