thanks! i love it. this movie is so charming. one of my favorite feelings when watching a movie is when you get butterflies in your stomach (or just some feeling in the abdomen. this could be just a me thing) because you know you are literally falling in love with what is in front of you at that moment. that is exactly how i felt the whole time watching this movie. it’s so much fun & i understand why it is as popular and adored as it is.
my favorite thing about old hollywood is how talented everyone is. it seems like to be successful back then you always had to be a triple threat. i mean how could you not??? if you went on set and were just average your fellow castmates would out act you, out sing you, AND out dance you. how embarrassing. i haven’t watched many old hollywood musicals but i’ve seen tons of clips & this fact rings true for all of them: everyone was OOZING talent our of their pores. it is amazing to witness.
i just wanted to watch some ppl fall in love and have a good time. that’s exactly what i got with this + more because it was quite literally better than i expected in every way you can imagine.
i want to sing in the rain. i wanna feel the glorious feeling (*´∀`)♪
