If Fantasy Island was a person, I would punch it in the face

Kevin Costner plays a guy from Pittsburgh who watches real American football, has strong feelings about the differences between a moustache and a goatee, doesn't like the color yellow on his walls because it's not manly enough and expects an Italian to know how to make Spaghetti sauce just because of his heritage. Seems about right

The facts presented during the credits was more interesting than the movie itself. Sadly, that is what you get when a movie that should be driven by its characters instead ends up being the definition of generic.

Where movies like 13 Hours and Lone Survivor delivered suspenseful experiences with characters you got to know and ultimately cared about, 12 Strong ends up being bland and to an extent, boring.
