i love the complexity in the characters. pinnochio being born from anger and sorrow, the whole expectations theme and of course: anti-fascist pinnochio.

also the fact that this is stop motion ?? crazy

went to the movies. loved it. margot robbies does an outstanding performance, and the score is absolutely everything to me.

i love the idea of this being “the other side of la la land” where dreams can come true… but they are not as pretty and simple as you think… it’s disastrous.

ps: isn’t it poetic i saw la la land by the beginning of my college years and now babylon by the end of these? it is.

i was afraid of Ed having a heart attack during the whole movie oh god I love this man.

plot wise? cool. horror movie wise? bad.

the scariest part are the credits with the real recordings ngl
