i’m so uninterested in this matter that i felt like i wouldn’t like this at all.
i can now see how much of a fool i was and i apologize for my foolishness.
this may be the best-directed movie that i’ve ever seen? it’s so polished, the performances are all so phenomenal (paul dano really popped off), the pacing is so clean.
and, along with those things, the amount that the score manages to do here is frankly insane. i’ve never seen a movie so heavily focused on the score to manipulate the tone. it’s risky, but it paid out. the score is crazy and i love it.
i’ve been wanting to get to more pta, so this can be that extra push i’ve been waiting for.
