Watching Jackie Chan is it’s own drug, and Police Story is stocked up a-plenty. With a prime direction and some of the most impressive stunts ever put to film, it’s a feat of court storytelling and never-give-up cops.

The Suicide Squad is a textbook renovation of its 2016 predecessor, and I’m happy to say does a damn good job at keeping the bare minimum of connections with it; so much so, that you believe James Gunn went out of his way to bury that dreaded two hour cosplay episode. It’s fantastically badass with incredibly diverse characters, who- while still staying diverse- manage to all circle back around to a common and shared theme that makes for some heartfelt camaraderie.
