Spiral: From the Book of Saw

Enjoyed this alot more on second watch. Engaging story with the potential for an even more engaging sequel. Chris Rock was solid. First watch I thought he was so out of place but I felt like he was solid this time. The traps are more brutal than I gave them credit for being to. Max Minghella made for one helluva antagonist with a motive that made alot of sense. Had a good time watching this.

  • Mandibles

Director Quentin Dupieux(Deerskin, Rubber, Reality, Wrong Cops) returns with yet another oddball comedy full of quirky characters, irresistible charm, and a nonsensical plot. Two dimwitted buddies feed a dog sized Fly cat food...just watch a trailer and that'll let you know if this one is for you. Runs about 75 mins in length.

A sleek looking erotic thriller about the consequences of voyeurism. Lying, cheating, adultery, death, deceiving, broken hearts, and lots of boobage! This film's premise and the characters are silly as hell. I watched these trifling ass characters and thought "wtf are u doing ya dumbass" more than once. But somehow it still held my attention throughout its almost 2 hour runtime. There's a mean spirited twist if u stick it out.

I always wanted to live in one of those…

James Wan returns to horror with a fucking bang man. The film itself starts off with a banging opening sequence as we're treated to a bloody massacre in a psychiatric ward in a random isolated dark castle setting. From there this shit is bonkers bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S 🍌🍌🍌!!!

Malignant boasts all sorts of wacky wtfuckery! Wild opening sequence, flickering lights, great score, Lights Out vibes, giallo vibes, supernatural slasher vibes, comedy elements, the buried city under Seattle location, body horror, snarky…
