Zay’s review published on Letterboxd:
Jojo Rabbit manages to take really dark subject matter and turn it into a coming of age story about a young boy with an imaginary friend who happens to be Hitler. And the love he develops for the young Jewish girl who lives in his wall.
Story bounces around but it never loses its comedic charm even during scenes of war. Enjoyed the entire cast. ScarJo, Rockwell, Taika Waititi, and young Roman Griffin Davis are standouts imo.
