I got really sad for some reason while watching this movie. I'm starting to think that anything that David does makes me feel very melancholic.
With Mulholland Drive in thought, I really enjoyed this movie. I knew going in I shouldn't expect the meaning behind given to me in a blunt manner
Watching it, I was able to interpret it as a shade to the industry as a whole. David always had artistic integrity which is something I always admired in him. I think this movie is about going to this place (Hollywood) thinking that you have the most freedom to do what you dream of, but ultimately get kicked back out. That's just my personal interpretation though. Anyways, I love Lynch and his style is definitely something I'm inspired from.
