Hilariously out of touch with reality, but an excuse for a lot of singin' and some decent horse racing footage, if you're into that sort of thing.
Hooptober X Movie # somewhere around two dozen I think
Synopsis sounds like proto-Alison's Birthday, poster looks like seventies softcore. Let's see what we're getting into then, eh?
Definitely more the latter than the former, but delivered with the usual stiff upper lip that comes with many British horrorsploitation flicks of the era, and a soundtrack that somehow feels naughtier than the brief full frontal shots. It all takes itself so seriously, despite its ridiculousness, which injects just the note of humor we need to keep things like this from slipping into oblivion.
Hooptober X Movie #6(!!)
Six Hooptober movies in one day??? Well, Creature Features is showing Children of the Corn (1984), which I've always been meh about AND I rewatched it recently (to see if I felt any less meh about it, and I dont), so I am going to gird my loins for a truly depressing lack of "Que Sera, Sera" in Hitch's first version of this story.
I do prefer the admittedly ridiculous Doris Day-warbled version of this story,…
