This was all caused by a guy being denied one Job position and being offered another that would probably pay well but no he had to have that job, so he blows it up. If the guy was treated worse than maybe I would feel bad for him but literally the most minor thing causes him to blow up an oil rig and spill chemicals into the sewer system killing 1000s of people. Dredd 2012
This is everything I ever wanted in a Judge Dredd movie. Over the top violence, pools of blood, villains who have tragic backstories but are still treated as villains because they are evil, and stakes that aren't world ending but are important. Judge Dredd and his partner are fantastic and a pleasure to watch. It touches on the facist side of things but clearly the drug ring is the main focus. I'm sad it didn't get a sequel.
