I don't want to sound harsh, but thank goodness the movie ended that way.
Considering the fact so many people are so pissed with this film here, I am surprised the rate stays pretty high, were it should be.
Obviously, I will appreciate a film were the following sentences can be heard: “it’s every guy’s worst nightmare, getting accused like that” and in reply “can you guess what every woman worst nightmare is?”
I thank Emmerald Fennell for writing these much needed conversations with these awful people in the film. Cassie, the protagonist, has all the right words for every single one of them.
I've got three things to say about this film this time:
1. Closer is so cruel, so true.
2. Natalie Portman takes it all here. She shines bright, she is so talented I can't even believe it.
3. Daniel is in love with Anna "because she doesn't need him". Ladies and gentlemen, that is life. Actually, every word that has been said in this film is realistic, it feels like a perfect copy of life.
Conclusion: Everytime you watch Closer…
