i feel incredibly irritable, bitter and lonely at the moment. i don’t usually let myself wallow in these feelings and so i don’t know really know how to channel them. in a selfish and ignorant way, i’m finding myself angry at the fact that so much time has been stolen from me this past year. it’s trivial things in comparison to the overwhelming loss and stress that the Entire World is facing right now, but so many aspects of my life have been scrambled in one way or another. i just feel lost. i know this film has issues and i know guadagnino seems to focus on some concerning topics, but it’s one of the only things that ever grants me that deep sense of comfort and escapism. it feels like it gives me a little bit of my summer back.
