Dan Gorman’s review published on Letterboxd :
Grimy, sweaty backwoods Canuxploitation; not exactly light viewing, but there's some catharsis that comes with the territory if you're into that sorta thing. I'm not really, unless there's something special going on in terms of execution, and unfortunately Bullies mostly coasts by on mean-spirited atmosphere.
Doubly unfortunate is that the movie really does Olivia d'Abo dirty by giving her one great moment as she shows up with a shotgun (doin' what Jonathan Crombie's wiener character cannot) but then instead of following that lead, it ultimately sidelines her for Jonathan's character to exact his revenge.
Fans of this kind of exploitation movie probably will get what they are looking for, but I was left wanting more substance.
