Guy’s review published on Letterboxd:
Very clearly the same man who wrote that Mark Zuckerberg was not an asshole, but he was trying to be. Sorkin's conception of evil is good people, be it tech billionaires or the US government taking a break from goodness.
Aaron Sorkin's greatest flaw is that he believes people are both too interesting and at their core too good and as much as that might be a naïve approach to a story about real world political malpractice, it is at least a worldview that produces effective stories because fundamentally it posits a better world as the only real outcome.
