This might be my favorite Coen Brothers film. It feels more intimate and personal than anything I've seen from them before. I loved watching this raw and authentic look into the life of an immensely relatable character. Oscar Isaac shines in a role that seems as though it was written for him and every supporting actor perfectly fits their fantastically interesting characters. There is also a healthy amount of offbeat humor, as expected from the Coens. The look of the film consists of both warm and cold colors that reflect Llewyn's own troubled personality. And of course the music is beautiful. I needed to watch something as uniquely comforting as this masterpiece right now and I'm so glad I did.
