sandro’s review published on Letterboxd:
one of the best films i've ever seen. a story told through action and sensations. the commotion, gunshots, voices, movements, you're being dragged along through it like you're one of the bodies the sonderkommandos drag through the camp. this time in history and entire film is so wretched and hopeless that the goal of our character is to save an already dead body, of a boy that is implied to not even be our character's true son.
there is no light. there never was.
"you failed the living for the dead."
