The Parallax View 1974
As a Child Of The X-Files, this was wildly up my alley — moments reminiscent of a Jacques Tati take on a paranoid thriller, plot points almost refracted through Gordon Willis’s shadowy lens to abstraction. A common refrain since I’ve been catching up with classics, but I can’t believe I had never seen this before. (The new Criterion Blu-ray is gorgeous.)

Some of y'all are Big Mad about the silly slapstick cartoon cat and mouse movie.
It's fine, has some good gags, the animation is neat, and yeah, it has too much human stuff, but RELAX
