michael palin told terry gilliam he didn't know if this was the worst or best thing he ever made and he was right

not too bad but still grody and possibly unethical. this movie pushed those boundaries a little too hard. fits right in with the reflecting skin, the florida project and pan's labyrinth but is more like their ugly sister. at least things look okay for jeliza-rose at the end
