  Every character in this is so insanely horny to commit infidelity to the point where it kind of broke my brain. Magnolia for home-wreckers and hopeless romantics. Deeply silly (and, at times, maybe a tad problematic) but it made me choke up like thirteen different times, so I'm going to let it slide. Cannot stress enough how loud I chuckled when I realized the cue-card-at-the-door thing came from THIS movie.

  Miyazaki is back and doing what he does best - animating a bunch of cool little guys.

  Feel like I need a rewatch to completely fill out my thoughts on this, but very few movies have left me with the overwhelming feeling of pure imagination I felt walking out of this theater. Essentially viewed in IMAX - it’s best to fill as much of your eye as possible with the beauty on display here. Such a beautiful world.

  An unoriginal, badly written mess of a film with a great (yet slightly overrated) performance, and a great score. I’m honestly kind of embarrassed this was nominated for best picture. It acts like it’s so deep and philosophical with its dialogue and statements made about things like mental illness and the state of society, yet the way this dialogue is written makes it sound like an edgy 15 year old had a bad day and decided to write a screenplay.…
