The Ron’s review published on Letterboxd:
Critical praise vs fanboy backlash has dominated social media when it comes to Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I've never been into George Lucas' creation as much as the masses (I merely enjoy the films except the prequels), but with those headlines and Rian Johnson at the helm my interest in TLJ was peaked. Now that I've seen it I don't understand the haters at all, but at the same time I don't get the showering of praise either. For me it was entertaining and fun, but nothing to get pissed about or spooge my pants over. Maybe if I was the huge fan some people are I'd get it. That said, I think I enjoyed it more than any other film in the franchise.
