I loved this.
Actually, I was looking forward to watch this movie primarily because of the soundtrack (my fav boy did the soundsss).
The part where Unmade is playing is really beautiful.
Amazing camera work. The dance sequences... pff, gorgeous. The low fps in some parts was a nice touch. The dream sequences were as fucked up as surreal. Tilda was A+. All the sonic/visual components worked. Other point: I can't explain this very accurately, but sometimes the imagery and mood "looked" like Adele covering The Smiths (both annoy me), but this actually made the more raw and visceral scenes come in with even greater power and they were more enphatic. Very tense. Very provocative.
Not so good:
- Dakota's acting seemed a little awkward I must say, but it didn't low the outcome's quality that much anyway.
A polarizing movie, but such as mother! worked for me, this certainly did as well.
What this movie does best is mixing all the feelings and sensations from the sweet side of the spectrum to the aggressive/disgusting one in the same scenes.
