The Prestige 2006
I’m really not sure what to say abt this movie lol. I’m kinda torn.
While the sci-fi aspect of this movie feels pretty contrived, and I didn’t find the end twist to be as insanely mind-boggling as I would’ve hoped, Nolan deserves a round of applause nonetheless. The constant foreshadowing, symbolism, and character foils weaved throughout the film are impeccable, as are the performances from Bale and Jackman.
Good movie, just not one of my favs. Lowkey teetering somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars
