this was so so so good . this and water lilies  double feature . perfect.

forget frances ha this is what being a young and listless Adult in New York feels like . hair is falling out, a man on the street is barking at you, there are almonds everywhere, fingers are falling off, your kid is missing,

in the past i worked way too long and unpaid with performance artists so this was a bitter and difficult watch for me. whether intentional or not, this highlights everything wrong with the realm. the hypocrisy, disconnect, privilege, hopelessness, the extreme need for self awareness. there was a lot that didn't work for me with this, probably due to my bias, but i did appreciate the unforgiving portrayal through gritt. i hope marte and her miner musical are thriving.
