Incredible.
It built an almost unbearable tension with such shocking, appaling grace. It's one of those things that you just can't look away from.
It also had a bunch of wonderful performances and very interesting characters with intriguing relationships.
During my screening, one scene in particular caused laughter mixed with disbelief among the audience. If you saw the movie, you most likely know what I'm talking about. It was anti-climatic, in a way, but also very amusing and kind of hilarious. Many other scenes were pretty shocking as well and some things made me gasp out loud.
In the end, I think it was something that both horror fans and non-horror fans could fall in love with. Such gruesome beauty is truly fascinating.
