watched the directors cut and it added so much more context to the toxicity and general awfulness of christian. and it had some HEAVY foreshadowing in a scene that would have ruined the experience in the original but since everyone who’s seeing the directors cut has more then likely already seen the og, it made me appreciate the movie a bit more. But it did drag more then the original, I kept checking my phone because time just wasn’t moving. but that also could have been because i would get super excited to see my favorite bits again.
