This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

“Robert Pattinson said to me before agreeing to this, ‘I don’t want to make a movie about a magical lighthouse. I want to make a movie about a fucking crazy person.”-Robert Eggers

If you don’t think that the Thomas’ were the same person, you’re lying to yourself.

Imagine being a parent of a little kid and thinking “This is the guy who made My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. My kid’s gonna love this movie!” Then they turn it on and people’s limbs are brutally chopped off on screen.

That was…interesting. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Some of the mystery was solved. Some of it wasn’t, but that makes it even better. All in all, a really good movie. Andrew Garfield was fantastic as per usual.

  • Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End 2007

    ★★★★½ Rewatched by zachpak14 17 May 2022

The best wedding ever, a legendary final battle, and multiple Jacks. Between this and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, there will never be a clear winner for which one I love more.

  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest 2006

Davy Jones is not only one of the greatest CGI villains of all time, but also one of the greatest CGI characters in general. Fight me.
