We are so spoiled with comic book movies. I am baffled by the reviews stating this is a bland and uninspired comic book film. Black Widow is a triumph for this sub-genre. It doesn’t try to copy the formula of the past MCU films, it creates a grounded and personal story for a character that has been long overdue for a solo movie. Not every comic book film needs to be this big and epic adventure with a complex villain. If this…

In 2003 my dad took me to go see 2 Fast 2 Furious, I still remember that day when we saw it, and how bright and colorful that film was. I still remember afterwards, my dad taking me to Target to get some Hot Wheels that matched the cars from the movie. It’s a great memory I have, and one that I like to think back on whenever a new movie in this franchise comes out. And, ever since then, I’ve…

“The best part of my life was fake, and none of you told me.”

This watch hit the hardest tbh. I couldn’t stop crying at certain scenes. Florence’s performance is honestly Oscar worthy, and I never connected to a new character so fast before. I’m so emotionally drained from this film. I love it so much.

Diana’s speech in the end is literally the greatest comic book moment of all-time, and having Beautiful Lie play during that scene is just *chef kiss*.

Yeah... this was near-perfect. A 70s punk filled fashion war film that is a non-stop extravaganza. Emma Stone is f’ing fabulous in this movie, and owns every scene. The costume and make-up BETTER get an Oscar nomination next year. It’s jaw-dropping beautiful, and I gasped at the beauty of certain designs. This doesn’t feel like a Disney film at all. There’s just something that clicks from the minute you see Stone as this famous villain. It feels fresh and different for…

In 1986, James Cameron made one of the greatest Sci-Fi/Action movies of all-time. With rich characters, and establishing Ellen Ripley as one of the coolest movie characters ever, and creating a practical effect masterpiece that still holds up tremendously 35-years later… now fast-forward to 2021, and we are treated to Hollywood trying to recreate this formula that made Cameron’s sequel stand the test of time.

    The Tomorrow War
is another generic, hollow and convoluted Sci-Fi/Action film that is a visual mess…
