So, yeah, this is a thing that didn’t have to be a thing but I saw it and it was alright. Enjoyed it more than I expected to, to be honest. It’s fine. I had zero expectations so that helped me just take it as it is.
I really did think everyone gelled well together and brought some pretty charming charisma to the table (Alden and Donald talking about you guys). The dialogue was hit and mess. So was the pacing. But I laughed a couple times and I smiled a lot. Good, light-hearted fun. Nothing less, nothing more. I get how one could be bored from this and I definitely wish more creative risks were taken but I’m not expecting much from these prequels besides filler.
