Sacrifice, iconography, balance, love, hate, change, past, present, future, and most importantly: connection. The most interesting directorial vision in the franchise, the most brisk and entertaining film of the past several years, and one of the best blockbusters ever made. I love this film and connect to it more than any other film in the franchise. I felt like it looked at me and asked me about myself. Questions I never thought to ask. The Last Jedi is a masterpiece of its genre.
