Skywalker’s review published on Letterboxd:
Found so much peace in the beginning and end of the movie. Cried so much during Beauty's journey from those nasty wealthy people until she found Jo again.
I'm emotionally exhausted. I really found it to be quite beautiful, and can't understand people's reviews.
Mackenzie Foy was excellent in her role.
I love horses so much. I'd do just about anything to spend some time with a horse right now. They're so healing. I found this movie to be healing as well.
I wasn't bothered by Beauty and Jo being female; In fact, I preferred it - I connect with female characters more.
"...there is no religion without love, and people may talk as much as they like about their religion, but if it does not teach them to be good and kind to man and beast, it is all a sham."
Black Beauty, chapter 13, last paragraph.
