Stand out: Jake Gyllenhaal
Spider-Man: Far From Home follows the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame and is exactly the sort of film you need because of how lighthearted and funny it is.
While on a school trip around Europe, Peter is brought to Nick Fury who needs his help in fighting the Elementals. Also helping is Mysterio who claims to be from another universe.
This movie devotes more screentime to Peter's classmates. MJ, played by Zendaya, is a very entertaining character and one of the more likeable love interests in the MCU because of how tough she is.
Jake Gyllenhaal is brilliant as Mysterio. He is so charismatic and charming, he could easily persuade anyone to listen to what he's saying.
This movie tries to make it a mystery of who the villain is, but anyone who knows the slightest thing about Spider-Man in the comics will know who the bad guy is.
Spider-Man: Far From Home introduces a world where Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow are no longer around. It doesn't really answer any questions about the rest of the characters, which definitely over-shadows the movie as everyone wants to know where all their favourites are. But this is a funny movie that can take you out of your depression after Endgame.
