    round two thoughts:

    - it took a while for me to come around to Timmée Chalamet as Laurie, but he grew on me A LOT.

    - with all the dancing in this adaptation, I was half-expecting Frances to just pop out from behind the woodwork and interpretive dance her heart out

    - Emma Watson and James Norton as Meg and John Brooke are the Harry Potter/Grantchester crossover of my dreams

    - the editing choices in this film are so successful…
