  I dunno man, it just kinda worked for me. I started it stoned but finished it buzzed 🤷‍♂️🍺.
  Theres a piece of it that feels slightly missing but I can't put my finger on it. I otherwise appreciate some monster-in-the-dark-fuckin-about type movie, and thats what it was to me.
  Daddy was a little too emotionally unavailable for my tastes, but I digress.

  It's fine.
  For a movie with no dialog it excels at the visual storytelling pretty damn well enough to understand what's going on.
  An interesting take on the scifi alien invasion genre that pulls it off better than most.

  LMFAO!!! Seriously, this movie was hilarious!! Right away you get a perspective of the witch being burned alive, I was sold!! But then it gets dumb and I had a great time!! Just some of the dumbest shit in this movie, the glowing statue face! The bad early 2000's cgi! The Sadako ripoff!! The gullibility of religious folk!! And the pro-god message at the end 🤮!
  I shouldn't like it but I did. Also, I had to have my return trip back to the theater while I was stoned. So, not to be that guy but since I'm that guy this movie was much more enjoyable!

  I bought a ticket to the theater on a whim, I went in completely blind.

  What a wonderfully fucked up movie.

  The kinda horror movie that makes me walk outta the theater with a smile on my face.
