Zach Harpole’s review published on Letterboxd:
Midway through, Dakota Johnson's character tells the matron of the dance school--played by Tilda Swinton--that everything is a mess and that "we are foolish to think that the worst is over." At first I thought this made for an interesting critique of the modern world in relation to the horrors of the twentieth century. Fifteen minutes into Act Six, I was beginning to think it better applied to the film itself.
