Happy Birthday David Lynch!
"We've met before haven't we?"
"You like pornos??"
"Give you a boner??"
This is yet another David Lynch masterpiece. He really knows how to make you uncomfortably terrified yet completely drawn into his villainous characters.

🎂 Happy Birthday David Lynch! 🎂
I absolutely love David Lynch, he is one of my all time favorite directors. His films are such works of art. They are light and dark, surreal and twisted imagination.
It has been a little while since I last revisited this cinematic gem. Lost Highway has outstanding performances, incredible cinematography, gripping story that makes you use your head, and an excellent soundtrack. All key elements you can…

Snowpiercer is a really gripping and action packed Dystopian/Post Apocalyptic movie. Its like one giant hallway fight scene that works its way through the back of a gigantic train to the front engine room. The performances are all great.
The movie felt like a good choice when another winter advisory was issued today. Especially since its been several years since my last viewing.

The dizzying introduction to Boogie Nights is the first of many long unbroken takes that paints the setting with frenetic energy, and it is this energy that is the defining characteristic of the film. It is striking how raw the filmmaking talent on display is – at once both insanely impressive and clearly inexperienced, what shocked me on initial viewings is now the only thing I see: this was made by a very brilliant, exceptionally talented, untrained and unseasoned 26…
New decade. New rules.
Scream 4 is so meta it opens with not one but two fake out openings that are actually from the Stab films inspired by the events from the first films in the franchise. Kicks the series back into gear after the third film felt a little flat by being an absolute vicious bitch of a slasher film, delivering some of the gnarliest kills the Scream franchise has ever seen. I am so ready for the fifth film now.
I haven't watched this since its initial release in 2016, though I fondly remembered it going into this rewatch. There's still a lot I love here. Goodman's performance is one of his best, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead proves she has star material. Some of my favorite sequences are between the two of them. So much is spoken in their traded glances and stares.
I still don't love the final 20 minutes. To me, the film…

I finally got around to watching I, Tonya. A movie I have been wanting to get to for a long time. I love the performance from Margot Robbie. Like a whole bunch of other people I grew up in the 1990's watching figure skating all the time and I loved Tonya Harding, and I can still freshly recall when "the incident" had happened. I never once believed she did it. It was about time to get a movie out that voiced her story.
"It's called tact you fuck-rag" - Billy Loomis,
I really, really love Matthew Lillard. Is it just me?
Got the urge to watch this after seeing the new one and I'm finally giving Scream five stars because damn is it perfect. It might be the best casting in horror history, the characters are interesting, the commentary was groundbreaking and is still fun, and the structure of the film is flawless. It's…
