ZJ’s review published on Letterboxd:
Tenet is mostly two people talking interspersed with tepid action scenes that you sometimes get to see again. Only in reverse. It’s overly serious and completely lacking in charm and while the performances are good they don’t offer much to invest in. The timey-wimey gimmick is okay but not particularly impressive and it all feels too complicated for the fairly rudimentary story being told. It tries its best but never manages to rise above being a lesser James Bond but with time manipulation. I’d almost say it would make a better video game but honestly the time stuff has been done better elsewhere. Skip it.
