  okay edit on a more in depth note: I have seen doctor strange (2016) 12 times. hes by far my favourite mcu character. I also love raimi’s style. If you’re a fan of either strange or raimi you will love this film. however, I’m predicting general  audiences will be divided on this one, simply because it is bonkers end to end without pause. for me though it might just be a perfect marriage between source material and director, it’s exactly what the doctor ordered baby!!!!

  My parents showed me this film at a very young age. As a child, I fully shared in Ofelia’s experience. I believed in the world she does, and the fantasy she explores. I could see the greater meaning, but I couldn’t fully grasp what it all meant. Watching it now at 20, somewhere between childhood and adulthood, I can barely find the words to express my love for it.
