For Bavaween I thought I'd finally check this out. Lisa and the Devil was already kind of an acquired taste for me so I can't really say this works too well, it mostly feels like two different movies getting in each other's way, albeit in a sometimes surprisingly artful fashion (some very cool match cuts in this). The added Exorcist material is pretty cool though, and it kind of makes me wish we could have seen an actual Exorcist knockoff conceived and executed by Bava rather than assembled after the fact like this is. Elke Sommer deserved some kind of acting award for her devil-possessed performance here.
