Joe’s review published on Letterboxd:
A seemingly endless (almost 2 hours!) procession of awkwardly dubbed silent scenes, awkwardly staged dialogue scenes, boring and repetitive action, and jokes so bad they give bad jokes a bad name. The Gag Man depicts this as a total disaster that tragically became commercially successful due only to the novelty of sync sound, a depiction that is totally accurate. Not even any cool stunts or chases in this, I never thought I could hate a Harold Lloyd movie.
