Realism is the WORST!
A great look behind the curtain of Hollywood, with all its ups, downs and changing times that come with it, that may never hit harsher as the Silent Movie Stars for an era long gone.
In Billy Wilder's best I've seen yet from him, the story of Norma Desmond feels eerily real and painful in equal measures. All with his Tongue-in-cheek dialogue and opulent set design that is so Wilder with a good and credible redemption that sure has emotions for everyone.
